Ready to ride?

That’s what our e-bikes are for.

There is a one dollar charge to unlock the e-bike. The bike rents for $.60 a minute thereafter.

This eBike must be returned to a designated bike rack depicted on the map below and in the Ride Today app. It cannot be shut down anywhere else.

E-Bikes not returned to a designated rack will incur a $200 retrieval fee. Make sure to return to this app and swipe the power button to the right after the eBike is returned to a designated bike rack to end the ride.

All terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement apply.

Trips to the causeway

The trip out to the Cut in the Causeway 10 miles north of downtown takes about two hours (20 miles round trip), and costs about $70. Shorter distances cost less.

Most of our eBike batteries will be at or close to a 100% charge when you rent them. You can check the battery level on the display. The rate of discharge depends upon how much power you are demanding, the weight of the rider, wind and temperature. For longer rides we suggest you check the battery level on the way out to the Causeway and turn back before you get down to a 50% charge. You can still pedal the eBike back if you run out of power. It’s just more difficult.

When you are done with your ride please visit our gift shop at 86 Main Street for a unique selection of Vermont t-shirts, hoodies, apparel, cards and photos concentrating on Burlington, Vermont, Lake Champlain, the waterfront, the Bike Path and the Causeway.
