Meet the founders

Today is founded by Sean Flood, and David Touwsma.

“We launched Ride Today Limited to build a global business grounded in deep experience and a clear understanding of the micromobility industry. The sector has grown at a breakneck pace, but many companies—our previous experience included—faced challenges that exposed fundamental flaws in execution.

While others focused on rapid expansion without sustainability, we saw an opportunity to do things differently. Today is built on a foundation of experience, ensuring that we prioritize efficiency, scalability, and long-term value creation rather than chasing short-term growth at all costs. By applying insights gained from past successes and failures, we are setting a new standard for what a micromobility business should be.
